Shanghai Auto Show Invisible Champion--Huayu Vision joins hands with many automobile enterprises to create intelligent headlight interaction system

The 20th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as Auto Shanghai 2023) opened at the National Convention and Exhibition Centre (Shanghai). With the theme of "Embracing the New Era of Automotive Industry", the show was organised by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), Shanghai Municipal Commission for the Promotion of International Trade (SCPIT) and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Automotive Sub-Council.

It is reported that Auto Shanghai 2023 has attracted more than 1,000 companies to actively participate in the exhibition, with a total exhibition area of more than 360,000 square metres. Industry analysts believe that Auto Shanghai 2023 will help boost market confidence, promote automotive consumption, release more vitality for the auto industry, and form a synergy to promote high-quality development.

In this century-old change in the automotive industry, the new domestic car companies have brought subversive technical achievements in many areas, such as motor independent drive system, body control system, non-load-bearing body structure, interactive intelligent cockpit, blade batteries and other hardware systems. In particular, they are using software to redefine automotive intelligence and electronics. Chinese car companies and supporting parts and components enterprises have seized the new mission and new opportunities given by the times to rank among the world's front-runners. The bold technological innovation of the new force car enterprises, bringing disruptive technological achievements we can see from the number of new energy vehicles on display this time, the number of new energy vehicles on display accounted for about two-thirds of the total exhibition volume. It is expected that the footfall of this auto show will hit a record high this year, exceeding 170,000 people. As of 13:00 yesterday afternoon, the visitor flow has exceeded 130,000 people.

Intelligent vehicles have become a strategic direction for the development of the global automotive industry, and now as the vehicle intelligence embodiment of the intelligent lamp interaction system is particularly important, ADB, DLP, AR-HUD and other optical technologies have also been on the world stage. Optical technology in the application can show the technical heritage of enterprises, to the actual application experience and data feedback, iteration, can actually play a role in the technical research and judgement. In other words, the theory of the actual mass production after the laying, in order to control the technical advantage as soon as possible.

Last year, DVN (Driving Vision News) organised an automotive lighting technology exhibition in Europe, where Dr. Wolfgang Huhn, representative of DVN (Driving Vision News), experienced the HiHo HiPhi X model equipped with intelligent headlight system from DVN, and gave a high evaluation to it. The car's lighting system is not yet available in Europe and the US, but it demonstrates the extraordinary capabilities of the LED communication matrix. The night driving as well as the many animations during parking are breathtaking. In 35 years in the automotive lighting industry, I have never seen anything so impressive." The highly innovative and eye-catching lighting system from HiPhi was developed in just nine months by Chinese headlamp supplier Huawei Vision and is described as a "customisable matrix lighting system".

In the article, Dr Wolgang Huhn also mentions an interesting tidbit about the ISD: "Out of about 20 different animation effects, my personal favourite is "Fireworks", which consists of fireworks on the display and the sound of the fireworks - it's really fascinating. It's really fascinating. We "lit the fireworks" in the car park before entering a restaurant. Immediately a waiter came over to ask if our car was allowed to set off fireworks, and the owner was attracted to us as well."

Following the launch of the HiHi HiPhi X, the ChiHi IM L7 model, which will be available in March 2022, and the latest LS7 are equipped with the latest generation of DLP headlamps and ISC digital lighting technology, also produced by Huawei Vision, which is more compact, energy-efficient, and clearer, and which allows for even more interesting functionality and more exquisite effects. Such a complete mass production case has yet to be seen internationally. On the high ground of cutting-edge headlight technology, Huawei Vision has already taken the lead.

The Zhiji equipped with three generations of digital interactive headlights, with 2.6 million pixels capacity, can achieve a clearer road graphical projection interaction, in addition to the development in the field of safety, more digital lighting research and development of the original intention. With the help of megapixel clear graphic projection ability, timely prompting other traffic participants, to convey driving intentions, to protect the safety of night driving.
